I think checkered binding is seen as a "premium" feature, so its unlikely that we'll see it offered on the 4003. Now if RIC did decide to produce something like the oft discussed "4001 V68", they could simply take a standard 4003, and add CB, horseshow pickup, vintage bridge and plexi TRC. In my opinion, this would be more likely than CB showing up on the 4003.

But I think that answer shows they have thought/are thinking of ways to improve on the time it would take.

Anyone want to go into the business of making high quality binding material of white with CB?! :lol:
