I gotta know how these play!
My '66 360/12 is the best playing of my guitars, bar none. I'm not so into my 660/12 and the wider neck.
I'd love to hear from someone how the neck of the c63 compares to '60's necks, if possible. I've played one v64 and wasn't extremely impressed.

There can be a lot of variance wrt 60s necks; I've played a couple of 60s Rick 12s (Kenny's, Graham's), as well as a C63 at NAMM this year. The C63's 7 1/4 fretboard radius is not as extreme as some 60s Rick 12s, but is quite curved and sweet to play with the 7 1/4 fretboard radiud. The V64s have a modern, much flatter 10" radius IIRC. 60s necks vary. Graham Griffiths' `66 360 12 F model has a very slim neck (width wise), C shaped, with quite a pronounced, curve on the fretboard-I think it's a 6" radius, while his `62 375 has a slim, D shaped neck with what feels much closer to a 9 1/4 radius.

In any case, Kris will have a lot more experience playing his C63, so he'll post his impressions, I'm sure-if he can put the guitar down long enough. :)

Man, I posted a link to a 360/12v64 on the 'bay for $2K just the other day and the auction went with no bidders. Hard to believe everyone let that one go.

Thanks, Jim! No the avatar is a 360/6 I purchased from the MF sale in July. I haven't taken any pics of the C63, but holy cow, it's gorgeous!

I played it unplugged this evening after letting it cool down from a day in a hot UPS truck and figuring out which keywind for which string for another 30 minutes.

Only strange thing is the ocatve string on the low E seems to hang up on the TRC kinda ****-eyed. Anyone else note that?

Well, Ben Hall kinda promised another large run of 360/12C63's when the leaves started turning a nice shade of FireGlo...

It's happening!

Any news, Ben?

If he was referring to leaves turning a nice shade of FireGlo in Sunny Southern California, you might have a bit of a wait...

OK so I just got one....360/12C63 made 32 week of 09! What is the going rate for this because I feel like I got a great deal. I am selling my 97 360/12V64 if anyone is interested.
