Yep...... it was a cracker of a day!! Who'd have thought I'd come to dreary old England and pick up a mild case of sunburn??

The most amazing part was that at no stage did GG look like giving the fish their traditional free feed!!

Thanks for a great day, mate. Oh... and up the pub for a feed, 5 or 6 pints and a late finish to the night was the perfect ending!

For those of us lacking in-depth knowledge of British Admirality history ... what is the historical significance of the HMS Belfast ?

Did it transport the Kangaroo statue over from Australia ?

Or is it's military assignment to protect the Guiness brewery stockpiles from overtly-thirsty visitors like Aitch :?:

Cheers !

Great photos, great time. Aitch, the hair is looking more white (but then, who's isn't!), but you look healthier than ever! Enjoy the time off!

A nice 6 hour drive through the glorious English countryside to Yorkshire. We headed straight for Bishop Auckland to see Pete, who was hard at work at a local festival. We thought it only fair on the locals to have Aitch checked out first, then it was off for a pint or 3.................
Aitch passed with flying colours..........he got a certificate to show the ladies too!!!!!!

I am glad you had a good time.. How did Peter do on the job? Was he working hard or hardly working? I have always wondered. Big hug to wifey! Now Howard how are the tongues holding up? Any one done a tongue check? Your color looks to good to have been visiting the old friend B.S. What is the next stop on the agenda? When do you meet up with Scotty? or Sarah? So many questions so little time. Oh one more question how is Graham at hosting.. breakfast prepared every morning? is he waiting on you? Enjoy every minute I would love to be in your shoes! And John was full of it (LOL) you look great not a minute older! Have fun!
