I took that pic when I was touching up a nasty chip on the face of that V63. There's a thread about it in the Reflections Of A Curmudgeon Forum.Wildberry wrote:FG basses wear pink make-up?rickenbrother wrote:

Definitely put the toasters on the FG, Scotty. I don't know why, but I just think they'd look better there.scotty wrote:Love that 330 too Mel,Im going to slap a couple of toasters on my 330 next week.
What you think the BBR or the FG? Im thinking the FG?

Last in my morning photo session was my 1979 330 VP, a really odd Fireglo. The shading lightens just ever so slightly in the middle of the guitar; it almost isn't a burst at all. I wonder if this is a unique spray pattern, or if there are others like it somewhere out there. Also, the toasters are extremely hot and do not jangle at all--in fact this guitar is a rocker that can SCREAM! Kind of like playing toaster-buckers.
My husband picked this one up about a year and a half ago when he was perusing Japanese eBay--the price was really fair, even factoring in the overseas shipping. It came missing the top on the treble volume knob.
Rob! You are now officially "my little music guru."Mateybob wrote:
