Thanks for finding a place, Kira! I have no plans for July and hopefully work won't interfere. Assuming I make it I can bring some amps and things. It'll be nice to finally meet some of ya'll in person.

Coming up from Southern California, Sundays would be harder
I'm with Dano, I think Saturdays would probably be better .... now I have to check and see what week-ends in July will works with the family schedule.

Seems like we're building a consensus for Saturday; that's fine with me. Let's see who else checks in. I'll let this roll till the end of the week and see what we have. Everyone, please state your preferences for the date!

Gary, if you want to help to put together a playlist it would be most helpful. I was going to wait till we got the date settled before discussing the music content, but it's probably not to early to start. Paul A has posted some fine lists in the Socal jam threads.

Cool, most of my stuff revolves around 60s 12 string stuff, ie: Beatles, Byrds, Animals, Searchers, but I'm open to anything...it's the fun that counts. I'll check out Paul's list...
ps to Scotty: Hey, that's used to be where I brewed my ale,

I did but the ambient cardboard walls over shadowed it!

Dont turn the amps up the walls might blow away.

Nah, I think the carpet scraps are holding the place together very nicely. A liberal smattering of egg cartons would be nice for that traditional homey feeling, though.
"Funky Industrial Chic", I believe they call the interior style.

Just found out that I'll probably be in No. Cal. (Ukiah) some time during the week of July 5-9, not too likely I'd have much time though, so I'm not too bummed that it's looking like it'll happen later than that...

i am very interested - saturday would probably work best for me-i just have to get a date and see if vacation time is available-will probably need to take off a friday or monday (or both) for the travel. its about a 7 hour drive from brookings to sfo. i will bring my goodies (2 rick basses) possibly my ampeg bass amp if i haven't sold or traded it by then. (i think i've decided i am a "modern" bass tone guy...)
