Glad you enjoyed the ride, and it worked out well for you. There will be other adventures!

At least it will be in the Limelight, where it belongs.

Ok Ok, after a ton of PM's to plead not to send this instrument to California, I need to once again remind you of what I initially wrote, "A serious and talented collector", that's who has acquired this instrument. Perhaps I was too cryptic. She is going to Canada, not California. She shipped out this morning and yes, she is obviously staying in this Hemisphere. :D

I may have to get an updated picture of HIM with his expanding Rick collection. Same guy recently bought Gary's RM 3261.

Paul,

Yes, he is on a vintage Rickenbacker buying frenzy!! He wants my 65 4001 but I'm not willing to give that one up yet. His tech and I have traded a few dozen emails, very very nice guy, and said he snap a foto of him playing my 68 and send it to me. That will be neat!! It's good to know he still has a large place in my heart for the brand!!

It's odd, I play Rickenbackers as well as Orange and I'm not a huge fan of his band. Odd, huh??

And if you look at that Moving Picture very closely....you'll see the electronics that I restored in it!

How cool eh? He only stops for the best.

Would love to see that picture when it arrives. If that had been mine I'd have been as pleased as punch, assuming I'd been ok with selling in the first place.

Yeah, Geddy never had the chance to see my 4005WB up for sale as (outside of the minor attempt here) it was really a private sale that started on a different website.
