Naming your Equipment

What have you named some of your rickenbacker stuff>?
my Rick 330 (the eldest rick in my band) is called Rick Senior
while our bassist new 4003 is Rick junior
(our 325c58 dosent have a name)
also Our T-100/T-60 stack is now known as the "Super Bassilator T-160E" (for its bass boost circuit)
.......and the hofner is known only as "senior hoff"...........hows abouts you?

No names for equipment in my band, but we do have a swimsuit poster in our rehearsal room that our drummer refers to as 'Melissa'. Whenever he misses a beat, it's Melissa's fault...

Don't have any names for my Rics yet but I call my Brian Moore 'Clara' because it's a cow of a thing!!

Right now I've got two: My 360-12 from 1980, which I usually refer to as the "Ric 12".
And then my 325C58 JG is "Little Ricky", which I say with a Cuban accent. What can I say, I was an "I Love Lucy" fan. (Anyone under 30 probably won't understand...)

I've only named my Les Pauls. Goldie Hawn, Karen Black and The Goddess. All Lps are girls in my warped mind. They're moody, expensive and gorgeous to behold but sometimes hard to get along with and ultimately irresistable.
All other gear remains unnamed except my 100 watt Marshall. My bandmates nicknamed it Captain Tinnitus.

MG330/6 = "Emma"
MB660/12 = "Gretchen." She has a vaguely germanic look to her.

I had a 100W Marshall bass head for years that I pushed the low end of the Ric-O-Sound with...sold it to a young guitar player recently (evuhbody wanna soun' like Jimi...). When I bought it, the "Marshall" logo was gone...like a Mustang with no chrome 'horsie'. I found out it would cost me $75 (!!!) to get a replacement...later, I found a plastic Heineken sign the same size and epoxied it onto to the 'sacred space'...cost? $3. Imagine playing through the only Heineken in town. It's not like no one could tell it was a Marshall, anyway...'specially when I turned it up to Eleven.

I named my power supply for my bass pod Thomas Edison ... I named my analog electric tuner Emperor Chin ... I named my guitar cord Leroy ... I named my drum machine Mickey ... but damnit ... I can't seem to come up with a name for my guitar strap!!!!

Peter, you stole my line.
Chris, a lot of people have not only named 100 watt Marshalls Tinnitis but have gotten it from them.
I had a 200 watt Major years ago for my bass with 4 15" JBL's and my guitarist tried it one time, sounded great... for about 2 miles. It really did sound great with a guitar though. Big!
