Is it just me or has Bjorn's site disappeared. I see it's up for sale but has Bjorn pulled the plug early? I hope not - it's a great site.

I can't get it either. Let's hope it will be back. Rickbid seems ok though.

I got an e-m from Bjorn yesterday and there was no mention of going offline, although he did say that he was buried in submissions.

Rest easy everyone. Rickbeat should be back online today. This is only a temporary thing. This information is from Mr. Rickbeat himself.

Hello everybody,
I am sorry for all problems this temporary site break has caused all of us. The problem is obviously not fully repaired yet. Right now (at least while writing this post) the site will not load properly. However this is probably the last thing to fix and I hope it will soon be done.
Just a explanation to what happened. Nothing strange really. The domain was expired but NOT because of me. I did pay to my ISP who was going to renew my domain in time. The problem is that it didn't work as it should. As soon as I noticed the "Expired Domain" page I threw away a bunch of $$$ to the registrar in Australia. I also wrote a letter in order to make them hurry up with renewal process. I don't think I will tell you what I wrote to my ISP, but yes, I did say ALL THAT!
I hope that you will soon be able to visit
http://www.rickbeat.com very soon.
Take care
Björn

Bjorn: Thanks for your comments. We could write a book here about ISPs, but it would not be much fun.

Well, they still seem to have a problem with the name servers at some point. Now it looks expired again. However, you can use the address
http://rickbeat.com (without "www") to access the site.
I wonder how they managed to mess things up like this?
Take care
Björn

Graham, where do you see that Rick Beat is for sale? If it is sold, I hope the next guy keeps the site as good as it is.

Joey: This site is not for sale. The domain somehow elapsed and it would have been for sale for a few moments before Bjorn realized that his service provider was asleep.

Joey - it was listed on Rickbid for just 1 day. It sounds like Bjorn's still in charge reading these posts. I'm glad to see it's up and running again. A super site!
