What does the VB stand for ? I have a 360/12VP in fireglo. It is particularly beautiful and the tone is great with the toasters. I would buy it if I were you, that would be a great first Ric. It never ceases to impress me how these guitars hold, and even appreciate in their value. A jetglo 360 is also a very cool guitar, I would love to have one of those with toasters.

Can't have a vibrato on it if, as he describes, it has an R tailpiece.

VB could be Vintage Binding? By the way these letters (VP VB ) come from the tags that came with the Rick. Vintage Pickups, Vintage Binding?
This is an early model 360 Vintage Reissue from what I have read. Just waiting for the seller to email me and close the deal. This is my 4th Rick so far..

Hmmm, interesting, but that would be WB for binding. Other than the R tail, it almost sounds like a V '64. The V has toasters, binding but with a trapeze tailpiece. If it is a V 64....it's an unbelievable price.

I thought vibrato because the store where I bought my Ric has a 330 VP VB which has toasters and a vibrato:

Could the tailpiece have been change by the owner?

That is what I was looking for. It could have been changed out but the person says they are the original owner and have paperwork. Unless it was changed out at the factory as a special request maybe?

Mitch, you're right about the VB, but on the guitar Larry was mentioning he couldn't have a vibrato with a R tail...330s with an Accent and toasters are options. It essentially makes the guitar a 335 with the Accent added.

Interesting.I know that the guitar at Willies was a special order that took him over a year to get.Well unless anyone can prove that VB stands for something else I'd say the tail piece was either changed at the factory or by the owner.Have you asked the owner about this Larry?

I am in the process of getting some answers before I make a decision, It is a 1993 model 360 with vintage case, black tolex and toasters. Strange combo but I think these were the first Vintage reissues before RIC changed the tailpiece on them.

Larry, a vintage case is silver tolex. And the rest I am kind of confused over. It has toasters, right? It has a R tailpiece, right? Does it have binding? Can you get the serial #? Have you seen a pic of it? Not trying to discourage you from this purchase but if I were buying it I would want to see what I am getting, at the least.
