Is there a Rick "B8"?

A local store has a used Rick that is walnut and maple and a dead ringer for the picture of the 4004CI Cheyenne on the RIC website.
They have it marked as a "B8". Does this make sense?
The price on it is $535 and it looks to be in very good condition. I didn't get the SN off it because I was in a big hurry. Guess I'll check it out tomorrow.

If it's still there, with this price tag!

The B8 could probably mean the serial number (= Feb. '95).

A CI for 535.00 is a steal! Grab it!
Unless of course it has serious structural issues, even then it may be a good deal.

at that price you can't go wrong ... the worst case scenario is you resell in on ebay for double what you paid for it ...
and the 4004 makes a good 5 string conversion bass ...

....the actual "worst case scenario" would be converting it to a 5 string

I'm inclined to agree.
I'd hate to see a Ci get 425'd.

Poor Jeff...getting ripped again!
Stop it guys! Actually, IIRC, he's spared a Ci already from the surgeon's table!
