Are these genuine RIC bass pickups?

A set of rough-surface bobbin pickups is on the bay now. I've never seen RIC pickups like these. Are they genuine?

Hi, Paul.
Yes, those are legit Rick high-gain pickups.
If I remember correctly, they were standard in the late '80s. The bobbin was left unsprayed. Also, the 'rough' surface actually is smooth.

Hey, don't mention it.
I guess you could call those sort of transitional too. Oddly, though, many display innacurate polepiece spacing/alignment. Take a look at the treble p.u. hereabove to see what I mean.

Carbon fiber weave? Sounds a bit too high-tech a material to be used on a low-tech device such as a guitar pickup...

It does look like the treb pup has one pole spaced unevenly. Maybe the camera was held at a slight angle.
