Maple Supply Problems Ahead?

Sorry this news is already a day old, but it could affect the availabilty of rock maple, and we all know how that would affect Rickenbacker:

did say the news was a day old.
And it's labeled April Fools. They didn't want saps running to the store to load up on maple syrup.

Or to the lumberyard to find unexploded maple.

Guys, I think this might be serious. Yesterday I went to a hardwood dealer looking for some Curly Maple and all they had was Shemp Walnut.
