Maybe its the one that I now own. I bought mine from a musician who played in Stephen Bishop's band. In '81, he went to Manny's in NYC. He saw this '80 320 JG. Henry told him that it was ordered for John Lennon. Lennon had even specified that he wanted the "older" pickups installed once it arrived. They were installed. The guitar was never picked up. Lennon was killed in Dec. 80. The musician has MS now, was dropped by EMI and had to sell a few things. I was hoping to verify everything but seems kind of "daunting". I believe the guy. Anyone here know Henry from Manny's? Is he still alive?

Here is the Scoop on it.
Henry is indeed alive! But long since retired
It might be hard to confirm that this was the same one....but I beleive if he saw the guitar he could....the question is "how many 1980 320's did this guy put toasters into at request in 1980?" answer is probably none and that may be one of the only ways of identifing it.
More news is coming

Of course i know the serial number! Its right here
I've talked to JH about it. He hasn't had time to check on where it was orignally shipped. Seems as though the paperwork from that era is a bit more work to sort out and he is a busy guy.
