That's the cover of an album with Tony Sheridan, I had it until one of my girlfriends disappeared along with a few Beatle albums, this was one of them. I bought it sometime during the 80's brand new I believe. First song on it is 'Cry for a shadow'

The real cover has the songs on the bottom rather than what is now written.

That site is awesome. You can even hear the 27(?) seconds of the Quarrymen from July 7, 1957, the day John met Paul. That's Lennon for sure. Pretty amazing stuff.

I sure do Carrie, it's one of my favorites as Tony Sheridan is a long-time hero of mine.

Pardon me for asking, but...didn't John Lennon on down the line, all get their rocking bounce (at the knees if you know what I mean)from Tony?

I see your Rickenbacker around the web too... Very Nice! One of eight? WoW.

What other Beatles gear do you have? Some I saw in Andys Book... your collection must be really priceless ..& hopefully growing!

I really like that Stu Bass ,Zenith, but your Gallotone and Futurama the most!

I have the 45RPM record of Tony Sheridan with The Beatles doing My Bonnie, and When the Saints Go Marching In, alas, not autographed, though. I do have a Pete Best autographed poster, for those who care Image

Carrie, yes John and George learned a lot from Tony Sheridan in the early days. I've heard this from people who were there at the time. George got a lot of help on guitar and John actually copied Tony Sheridan's stance at the microphone. Thanks for the compliments on my collection. But, my collection is shrinking instead of growing and I'll probably get it down to a couple old Rickenbackers, Gallotone Champion, Zenith Model 17, Hofner President and an Elpico and Selmer Truvoice Stadium amplifier. That's enough for me at this point in time.
