I think this is a 460

Going through the hard drive, I found this picture of our guitarist at a gig in 1979. I remember that guitar really well. I was the one that we used for doing the BBC John Peel sessions, and it had the most amazing buzzsaw sound I ever heard.

I think it's a 460. It came to a sad end, stolen on tour. There's a special place in hell waiting for whoever did that, because I'm sure that they had no idea what they took.

Gareth - Since it has dot markers on the neck and four knobs, I would assume it's a 450.

Those were the days, eh Gareth?

Sadly, John is with us no more.

Yep, it's a 450. I meant that ! It's the two pick up version of the 425 I think. That front pickup gives it away as not being the 460.

As for dear old John Peel, a true titan,. We won't see his like again. Liking our work enough to ask us to record a BBC session for him and then him requesting us to play at some of his roadshows was one of the best experiences I ever had. He'll be sadly missed for a long long time.
