Has anyone ever really used a Vox TB? (except you Roger). I can lose the upper range of my hearing fine without one!

Graham: I had a tech built a treble booster from the original specs I have seen posted online. In spite of his noble efforts, the tonality was so harsh that it was not really usable for the kind of music I like to play.

I do like the treble boost setting on the Janblebox though, but even this through an AC30 at moderate volumes can feel like to trip to the dentist. I do not mean this to be a criticism of the Janglebox, but any of these boosters under the maximum treble setting and gain can go almost ultrasonic.

I have a Rangemaster clone that Don Butler built me. It has a treble boost, and a full range boost on it. I usually use the full range boost setting on my AC30, especially if I am going into the Top Boost channel. I LOVE the pedal...it is my favorite overall. It is only really useful however in a loud situation where you can turn up because the pedal has like 28db of boost. It also doesn't work all that well with master volume amps. The full range boost sounds fat and thick like Tony Iommi's stuff with Black Sabbath.
