well - i'm into this rick thing in a big way. i got my 330/6 in fireglo and liked it a bunch. so i started thinking about the 600 series and 12 string models. you know how it is.

so i decided to order an other 6 string and do an a/b. i ordered a 360/6 in montezuma brown from north coast (great service and prices!). got it the other day and i've just sent the 330 back. however - if you've read my other post - i'm going for a 12-string. it most likely (not positive yet) will be a 330/12 in fireglo (i did like the hi-gains and figure i'll get them one way or another - but toasters are supposed to be the traditional way to go on a 12, aren't they? and, oh... that fireglo!)

this is nuts - but i'm having a ball!

If you were thinking of a 600 series Geoff why not go with a 660/12 which come with vintage toaster p/u's and is available in FG. And another thing it has 21 frets. My 2cents. Tad higher than a 330 but worth it!

i have thought about that. and i did locate one in virginia (a reference from this site). the man has a fine rep from what i can tell and he certainly was helpful. however - he gave no approval period. i've never had much trouble ordering sight-unsseen, but that approval period - even a short one - is important to me.

i'll put it back in my sights and take another look around. thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Geoff, there is a shop in PA that has 660/12's in stock in FG, has a 14 day approval period and is a great guy to deal with. Got my 660/12 in two days to Montreal, and it came out of the box in tune. PM me for details if you like.
