Gosh, it sure is a pretty shape, spoiled by an ugly switch assembly and ill-proportioned guard.
Looks like Rick's answer to Freddy Tavares' Fender Marauder.
But I'm sure somebody here can tell us for sure.

That one has been the subject of other threads which I can't reference off the top of my head. I do remember that the dealer wants some astronomical amount for it ...

If I recall correctly, it was a prototype and there are four pickups hidden under the guard.

I'm had thought the guitar had sold back last fall, it may be just a rumor....
And yes, that's exactly what it is, an experimental/prototype.

How cool would that be if they had a current protoype....you could have sersious bragging rights. "No you can't buy this man, its experimental!"

This was the Quilla "Porky" Freeman prototype, just a test fixture for the hidden pickup concept. The pickups, pickguard, and switches were not done in the factory, as you can tell.

The switches were done in Bulgaria.
Seriously, this is an intriguing bit of history and I'd love to know more about it.

Shoot, I had a picture of it for a while but don't seem to anymore. It looks sort of like a Fireglo F body but with a huge white pickguard and no visible pickups. Odd guitar.
