This is how Peter Howarth, lead singer with the Hollies since Oct. -04, introduces himself and his first musical memories:
" As far back as I can remember, I have always loved music and I hope I always will. My earliest memory was hearing 'Sugar and Spice and all things nice' when I was about two years old. I remember distinctly holding the record and staring at it in absolute awe and wonder! This very quickly led to an obsession of putting these brightly coloured discs, big and small, onto the 'spinning thing' in the sideboard (the radiogram). I progressed from the listening stage to climbing upon the dining table and singing into the Hoover, along to the inspired sounds of 'The Chipmunks sing the Beatles'".
