Is this good old-fashioned ignorant sales speil or are you US guys getting special treatment?

Link

Sort of contradictory, though...... "Rickenbacker have chosen to reissue this to their US customers", followed by "...no longer available...."

Nope, Howard, no longer available. Mr. Jackson goofed--he should have said "Rickenbacker HAD chosen, etc..."

This reissue is a mid-1990s reissue of the '60s Rose Morris export model.

Thanks, Paul. I think Mr. Jackson preys on the unknowledgable and impulsive. Some of his vintage Fenderspeak reeks of bullxxxx!!

How ya goin', anyway??

Goin crazy as usual this time of year. End of semester, student revolt imminent, teaching three classes, running my bailiwick, producing an online class, training a new assistant, fighting my budget battles. Oh, and finishing up the bass t-shirt and mug art, which should be done tomorrow.

But my guitars allow me to relax.

Cathartic, aren't they??

Spent about 4 hours mucking around with jazz progressions this morning - eases the pain!!

A very nice looking Rickenbacker. You have to love the fireglo with an f-hole.

Is it good for the tuners and the headstock for the guitar to be held up like it is in the picture?
I don't see how it could be a good way to hang a guitar...

Beats the hell out of my local dealers, who hang them from bent wire looped through the two top tuner keys, onto a piece of pegboard...

Thanks for cleaning that up, Peter - sorry!!

Yes, it is one purty piece of work! Some closeups of the body would be good. If I was really interested I'd drive to Sydney to have an eye-to-eye rather than rely on average photography - only 600 miles!! Then again, I could fly return for about $150.

Wait, little chicken hawk, wait..............
