What do you guys do with the USA sticker when you buy a new Ric?
Should I take it off?
It's such a cool looking sticker, it's just that it's on my pickup.

I've left the stickers on the pickups of my 4004/5Cii basses. I don't think it has an effect on the sound, if that is your concern.

I take them off and stick them on the bridge pickup cover that I also take off, and put them in a ziplock bag along with the rest of the case candy.

I've never understood the attraction of leaving the sticker on, but to each his own. For me, the sticker comes off and ends up in the garbage.

I'm with Steve. It doesn't feel like mine untill the sticker's off!
Leaving it on seems a bit like leaving on the cling film that covers new LCD's etc, or leaving the plastic seat protectors on in a new car....
Scotts idea is a good one though, the cover is the 2nd thing that comes off!

I put mine on the part of my warranty card that I keep.

I have considered removing the stickers from my basses since I'm not sure how well the adhesive / hand sweat combination will look after some time has passed.

My "Made in U.S.A." sticker from my 4003 is now on the hardshell case next to the handle. It's the only sticker on the case, and makes it easy to find after a gig in a dark club.

Right in the trash, I'm a sentimental fool.

Old stickers have a tendency to eat into whatever they're stuck to...

I put the sticker on the Rickenbacker manual that comes with the new instrument.

Marc - Tip...
Take it off very carefully and place it at the heel of the heck, where the truss rod holes are, just above the top HB1.
You're keeping the sticksr, and it won't cover the holes completely, it's facing down - so you don't see it on first glance.

I take it off, there is the "made in u.s.a" on the name plate in the head.
instead of I put this snack sticker.
now I want to take it off and i can't because it will leave a mark.
so my suggestion - take the sticker off and don't put nothing.
