Kevin Shields / MBV and Ricks?

I used to really like My Bloody Valentine (still do...), so when I read Kevin Shields's name on the Artist list, I started searching, trying to find out what model he played.
Long story short, I can't find anything. Is it verified that he actually did play one? There's an old Guitar World interview where he makes reference to 335's, but he seems to be talking about Gibson ES-335's.
If anyone has a picture, I would love a link.
