10-42 set... Where do you guys buy em from? I tried my local dealers ( big guys Ash & GC), neither carry the strings.
Options?
Has anyone tried GHS nickel rockers in custom sets?
I'd have posted this under the Ric & Strings board but I seem to be locked out.
Thanks,
greg

Hello Greg. I buy 'em from directly from RIC. They're $8.00 a set and shipping is $6.00 so I buy at least three sets at a time which works out to an expensive $10.00 a set! Best regards.

Greg,
Pick of the Ricks and The Music Connection also have them for $8, too, as well as other Rick stuff.

Nope, the sets I had were just sort of lying around. I ain't a dealer or nuthin.
If I find some around, I usually pick 'em up. In the meantime, the D'add set is good, change out the high G with a .10 and yer rockin.

I get all my Rickenbacker strings from Jim Rhoads at Rhoads Music in Elizabethtown, PA.
He's a Rickenbacker and Vox specialist. He keeps Rickenbacker guitars and some parts in stock. Also does repair work.

I use Pyramid Gold flats on both my Rics (and after some debate, will use them for my incoming 381v69 as well...I love the tone, so why mess with it?). I get these from either Chris at Pick of the Ricks or Mike at The Music Connection online. Both are fabulous to deal with.

I use (only) RIC strings on my 360/12,
and am very satisfied with them.
I've been buying them directly from RIC. I tend to buy several sets at a time, and maintain a little "stock" of them, reordering when I get down to about 3 sets on hand. The shipping cost is no big deal if you order more than a couple of sets at a time.
And, after all, guitar strings are like cat litter: even if you don't need more right now, try to have plenty on hand; you will need more sooner than you thought. And when it's time to change, IT'S TIME.

I get mine, from Chris at "Pick of the Ricks". Great guy to do business with. Where else do you get a receipt with a HAND WRITTEN thank you from the owner?
