I have a Rickenbacker Transonic 100 I'm considering selling, and would love some feedback on what it's worth. It's in great shape, replaced the 12" speakers several years ago. Has the foot pedal, everything works. Cabinet is in perfect condition. Have owned tis amp for over 30 years, and I believe it's 1968 model, ser.# 244

David, I have no idea what its worth but after you find that out, I'd certainly like a chance to buy it.

Hi John,
I've got a guy coming over this evening that wants to take a look at it, but may not sell it tonight. Any ideas on what you'd pay?
Thanks,
Dave

Someone help us here! Dave, I'd paid whatever is fair. I don;t want to pay too much either

. I'm not really sure what that price is though.

You can get an idea of what Bob Rissi (since he designed the amp) is selling his amps for now at
www.rissonamplifiers.com. Then again this may be of no help.

This may not be much help but the last sale I saw of a Transonic 200, was in the $1200 US range.

Thanks Peter. Is the 200 the 2 piece model, with a separate head and cabinet?

I'll pay what JW will pay + $5
Is this an auction?

Guess so

)
The guy stopped by earlier this evening, plugged it in to determine everything worked right. It seemed to. Basically said he would really like to buy it if I'm ready to sell. Hadn't seen one since Steppenwolf days, or not many. Wish I knew what it was worth.
