OK, here goes. I'll post a couple today, then more later when I get time. I left my photo I.D. sheets home, and playing with the photos at lunch at the office. With luck, here was the star of the show:

Lemme at 'em:

....there isn't a chance of picking a "star of the show" out of that group though!

Here's Ted's MG 480. I think everybody strapped this one on for a few minutes before getting back massages:

And another star, Ted's 4002. It sure sounded sweet through Jeff Scott's rig (via his incredible handling):

On finishing the book, hard to say. My target is to have it finished by 2007, which would be the 50th anniversary of the Rickenbacker bass. That might be a useful selling point. I don't have any hard and fast deadlines and no publisher lined up, but I do have the ability, desire, and soon, the time to do it. I've got a designer signed on, and a connection at Guitar Player who might be able to endorse the idea. I e-mailed John Hall a couple of weeks ago and asked for his help, but haven't heard back. I hope he can help as a fact checker and open photo archives to me.

Paul...will we be able to buy "Signed Forum Edition" copies and when does the bribery bidding open for the cover shot placement? Image
