I know that this isn't a Rickenbacker thing but just check out this sellers dodgy gear (also check his other auctions and what he has sold in the past). I honestly don't know why ebay doesn't stop him.

Signed by John, huh?
The only problem is that Strat acrylic pickguards didn't come out until about 10 years after John was gone...

He apparently sold a Velvet Revolver Strat replica too, to a dissatisfied buyer. Looking at the auction it's obvious that he took one of his fake pickguards and stuck it onto a butchered Strat. No class...

Here's one of his items:
"The Guitar: Is a Les Paul copy, i am not too sure what make, it has a bolt on neck and Gibson Les paul model in gold on the head stock.
The neck was damaged when i bought it from America last year but has been repaired.
The electrics on the guitar was in good working order when i last played it but it was a few months ago and i connot guarantee the are still working."
It's obviously too much trouble for him to plug it in and see if it's working...
Nice repair on the headstock...

I pulled him on a "Les Paul" that he has sold twice! It was advertised as a Gibson, he then revised it to a copy.

Howard, I think it's paint over a glued and Bondoed joint. Too gold and sparkly for it to be duct tape. Anyway, it's a marvel of workmanship.

"The autographs dont have COA but i have no reason to disbeleve they authentisity but cannot guarantee this."
Heh!

I'd say there's every reason to doubt the authenticity. IMO, no COA, not genuine! But then I am a bit of a sceptic.......

I send him an email and asked him how he got Lennons signature on the acrylic strat pickguard that came out 10 years after John's death.
I'll let you know if he responds.

If he does respond it will probably be something like:
"My stepfather's best friend's brother's estranged girlfriend's older sister got it signed in a pub somewhere"
Totally believable, IMO..........

Signed by all four Beatles. When was the last time all 4 signed anything? Court documents circa 1970, perhaps? Did they use a Sharpie?
