Would this actually be a one-of-a-kind? Looks to me like a 360/12v64, with a third pickup.

Richard: Definitely not the only lefty 370/12LH ever made, as this guy states..This guitar may very well be a special order, but there have been posts to the forum previously from others who have lefty 370/12 Rickenbackers. This guitar is cool nonetheless and it has a regular left-handed neck like they did 'way back when', not a mirror-image configuration. (I've got a birthday coming up...ImageImage )

I guess the original purpose of my post was to question the fact the guitar was more like a 360/12v64 with a third pickup, thereby making it a "370/12v64". Notice it has a 21 fret neck, toasters, vintage body style, vintage knobs and a trapeze tailpiece. I may be wrong, but as far as I know, a "370/12v64" was never made.

Richard, I think you are correct in your assumption---that is basically all the guitar is, a 360/12V64(LH) with the addition of a third pickup. Not something on the price list but I guess it was possible to order a guitar like that with the addition of a third pickup. The inlays on the neck are the 'V64' type as well. It could very well be a unique instrument..Even though most of them were Fireglo, this guitar was also made in Jetglo, Mapleglo, Turquoise and Desert Gold too (cool), and probably other finishes.
