It would seem to me that the 300 series of 6 and 12 string RICs are the most popular.

Are you talking sales? Current or all-time? Hmm, now that I re-read your post... are you asking a question or making a declaration?

Let my clarify my statement. I would say of all the 6 and 12 string RIC owners, you would be more likely to find a 300 series 6 or 12 string in their collection. (IMHO)

If that be the case, Dan (and IMO you may be right), which would be the most popular between the 330/340 and 360/370 series?

That's a difficult choice as It's narrowing it down to another level. I'd guess the 2 pickup models in each series would be more popular.

Isn't the 330 the most "popular" product sold by Rickenbacker, followed closely by the phantasmagorian?

The 330 is certainly toward the lower end of the price scale. Some might call it 'entry level' but I don't think so.... 'entry level' is a Fender IMO (nothing against Fender - I had one until 3 months ago).

Got a picture of one o' them thar 'phants', Rob?

If we're talking *all* ricks (not just guitars) wouldn;t it be the 4003?

By Jove, I think John is right!

Whereas Rick guitars' sales are split among lots of models, Rick basses are over far fewer models, with the 4003 being "the" bass to own (in terms of popularity, not rarity or bragging rights).

Makes sense...
