I've been searching for any/all information regarding the schematic of the Black Metal Box amp rick made in the late 30's... has anyone here reverse engineered it at all and made a schematic... any/all help would be appreciated...

Hi Mike,I have two 30s vintage amps with slightly different circuits.I drew up wiring diagrams for each.I could use some help finding the values of some of the electrolytic caps(mice ate the labels on a couple).Maybe between the two of us we could come up with a complete diagram.btw one amp does work.Norm Ross

I too am trying to recondition a black metal box amp. My amp tech asked me to help him find info. So please hook me up if you figure out the best way to beef up one of these things. I play pedal steel in an otherwise all acoustic band and big amps get loud too easy my band mates love this amp and want me to keep it rocking. Jimmy DeHeno in Detroit
