I haven't seen this posted here yet, so I did a scan. This is from the most recent (6/6/05) issue of Newsweek:



The article is on hearing loss, and the bassist is Kathy Peck, a San Francisco area punk-rock bass veteran and hearing loss prevention advocate.

It's an interesting read, and a gorgeous mapleglo 4001 (4003?).

That's a 4001. You can tell by the dark wood (shedua) that goes though the center of the neck-body.

The headstock looks long though huh? probably the photo. It looks exactly like my 79 4001 right down to the little worn down to the wood mark above the pickguard from anchoring a thumb.
