Korean made 12 string bass, comes with gig bag. Right now, I am not doing oversea shipping (I apologise to any of our overseas friends who are interested). I want to ship in the continental 48 States. Excellent Shape, no scratches whatsoever. I am asking $400 USD plus $50 for shipping.

Well, any takers? This is quite a beautifull instrument.

Rob, if I didn't already have one, I would be all over this one. The price is right, and it's a great instrument. Aside from Rickenbacker, I am also a big Hamer fan. (have a 12 and a 5-string Cruisebass)

Yes the price is right. Rob, how heavy is it?

Mike, it's not as heavy as you might think. The headstock has a little neck dive (as you can imagine with 12 tuners up there!) but it does have 2 truss rods and a nice strong neck. My Thunderbird is heavier. (or at least it feels that way after 3 sets!)

I weighed it on a postal scale: 9 pounds. As Steve implied, the body weight isn't at all heavy, but those extra tuners take up some weight on the headstock. It does do a neckdive, but feels very comfortable when playing standing up. I normally play sitting down, so I don't notice the neckdive much.
It's been a great instrument, but it's time to sell the things that I don't use as much. Too many toys, too little space! Plus, I'm unemployed just for the summer (at least that's what my employer is telling me....), so I could use the money. But, I am not that desperate. If it don't sell, back in the closet it goes....

That's a sweet price, but I already have a Hamer 12-string bass. I'll certainly mention it to people I know, though!

Have you tried posting it here:

I love mine, I have an early '80s Hamer B12S. During the '90s I was in a 3-piece band where I only played 12-string, I had 2 then. We sold lots of CDs in Japan believe it or not!

Actually, a couple of hours ago I took it to a local "Mom & Pop" music store, near a high school to put it up for sale on consignment. I'm asking a little bit more for it there, since the owner of course charges a 15% fee from the price. Of course, I always could get it back if someone here is interested for the price I stated in the above posting. I always would prefer to either sell it locally, or on this forum first before Ebay.
