Do her a favour and buy a 325, Bob!! Interesting chord, that - looks like an upward strum, too. VERY impressive!

...no, her right hand shows the beginning of bass guitar fingerstyle technique, get her a 4003.
Very cute Bob!

But Joey, if it fell on her it would surely cause great injury

For now... I'm quite content with her banging on the cheapie...
And no way will that girl get a Ric before I do! She definitely has the fingers of a bassist... maybe she'll inherit my Spector... for starters at least!
But then again... there's my excuse to buy that short-scale EB-3, right?

She really needs Dane's doubleneck, and a skyhook to hold it up. Then you can let her find her OWN way.

Knowing her, she'd be playing them simultaneously!

I play my bass like that... but over the pickups. Sometimes over the fretboard. I need a guitar.

Bob...does your playing technique also employ the Ravi Shankar seated posture? Very cool, dude...she's well on her way to an ethnomusic scholarship at UC Berkeley!
(Just what you wanted to hear, right?)

Not unless I'm playing on the toilet. (Don't laugh... you know when you're working on something you don't wanna stop for anything.)
I'm hoping she won't need the scholarship... we're shooting for a record deal by age seven. (having trouble removing tongue from cheek...)

I'm not laughing, man...it takes time and effort to produce a coherent 'work'...
I don't know, though...a record deal at seven sounds even scarier than Berkeley at seventeen...

I hope you're speaking of the work above the seat...

Like they taught us in Physics class, work is easy to define: it's all 'force through a distance'...
