Why is it when I view picture links (ie in Dale Fortune's "Building a neck thru Guitar") that when I hit the back arrow to return me to the thread it knocks me clear back to the General Forum Topics. Obviously I would prefer to return to the thread I was reading! Is there a setting that I need to adjust on my end?

That happens to me once in a while too, usually not though.

I just right click and open a new window, very convenient to do with many websites.

Ron: Jeff is right, you can right click and open a new window. Part of the problem is in how this information is coded. If the poster is using the link function rather than the topurl function, then your can simply go back as you have suggested. As an example of this, go to Dale Fortune's last group of photos. I coded the first two with the link which will let you go back using your browser arrow and left the rest the same so that you could compare and use Jeff's method.

Consumer tip, use the link function and that way the menu information is also present while you look at the new information, plus you can easily go back.
