I was about to grab it, thinking it was a mislabeled c64.

No, just seems to be the stock RIC c64 picture. I love when folks jsut cut and paste the sales pitch from a manufacturers site...

Nice looking bass, however misleading the sales pitch.

They're doing it on purpose too because they have a picture of a 4003 in the little pictures down below.

Agreed, but the 4003 pics appear to be the actual bass, not a stock pic from the Ric site.

Purposely misleading eBay auctions? My world has just been shattered. Next I'm going to find out my 1975 4001 is an Ibanez clone!

I agree that it is a misleading ad. With good pictures of the real guitar for sale, there is not one honest reason for the seller to have that incorrect picture in there.
