I am going to suggest you purchase a book by an English fellow named ...Melvyn Hiscock .

I believe it is called "How to make electric guitars" or "Making Electric Guitars"

He explains in great detail how to make several styles of guitars and basses .

I do not have the time to go into this at this site ...I am doing this "answering of questions " as a result of friends asking me to help out with the concerns of players .I have done this since 1972 and therefore have a backround in this .

But I do not have the time to explain every facet of guitar/ bass making to you .
This is nothing personal ....get the book , you will get more than the info you want .You can get the book through Stewart/MacDonald .

You can then make it in what ever shape/image you like .

Good luck with your project.
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
