Stone Roses
I see there's plenty of old Roses videos available for viewing at their website - here's a nice one from their heyday:

Some good shots of Mani's awesome "Pollock-glo" 4005.

Hey Dave - John Squire, the band's guitarist, was also responsible for much of their artwork including all their album and singles covers. He was a big fan of the artist Jackson Pollock and adopted that dripping/splashing paint style for much of his work, which also included at least one of his guitars, Mani's first Rick (his second, a 3001, I don't think ever received the same treatment) and the drummer Reni's drumkit. Splashed around paint kind of became their trademark - in fact, when the band had a falling out with their record label they somehow got into the label's offices and dumped blue paint over pretty much everything. Luckily they managed to avoid jail time over that one, though....
Man, they were a great band in their prime...what an incredible rhythm section...watching all those videos made me really nostalgic for a period in music history that came and went all too quickly!!
