Sorry to use public space for an off-topic query, but if/when you have some time, I'd like to ask you a few brief questions about installing a scatterwound Rick pickup in a guitar made by another manufacturer.

I have on two occassions installed toasters in Fender Telecasters....both of them went into the neck position .
You need to deal with the electrical phasing some times ...depending on era and what pickup is in the Bridge .
CBS Fenders were notorious for being 'out of phase' with other brands of pickups.
This is NOT the so call "STRAT Out Of Phase" tone.
