I bought a standard 1997 330 from ebay & decided to do some mods. I have wanted to do this for ages, but felt that all of my gtrs are too 'nice' too mod, so set out to find the perfect 'mod' gtr. Here it is....nothing outlandish, but I like it & best of all...it's a player.

I like everything, the knobs, the accent vibrato, the pickguard, and also the extra pickup.

Looks in great shape too. The FG is also very nice, I'd like to own one just like it!

Looks great, but why no toasters?

Toasters & 24 fret necks are not for me Jeff. Save them for the 21 fret models, as they were meant to be.

This has always been my opinion, as the lack of bass response in a 7.4 toaster IMO doesn't suit the closer spacing (bearing in mind that I am NOT after that '60's sound). However, I use the older hot toasters in my toaster equipped gtrs, which are much more hi-gainish & I would be quite interested in trying those in a 24 fret neck....

Terrific, Tony. Gold guards look so subtle on FG. Come to think of it, they look great on any color.

I was going to bait you with the high gain/24 fret question, knowing how strongly you feel about this match, but Jeff beat me to it. Except he was serious...

You know me too well Paul on the toaster thing & the TRC....I swapped it for a white one.
