Serial number

I´m having problems in dating one Rickenbacker 360/6. Its serial number is 73619! There´s no letters. This number appears on head, near the machine heads. Is it possible?

I think so(about the serial number!!), but the Rick is original,it sounds really good in a VOX AC 30. I´ve been playing this guitar during the last five years, including gigs at Cavern Club with Machine Guns(beatles cover band)during International Beatles Week(1998,99,00)in Liverpool. The serial number doesn´t appear on the jack plate or on bridge as usually.
