No problem mate. We have all asked questions that we really know the answer to from time to time.

Does RIC put the serial number anywhere else on their guitars and basses?

And for the record Ray, there are no dumb questions. I've found that the fine folks here will be happy to give or get any info that you may need in Rickenbackers, that's the beauty of this place

On the 450's, the serial no is stamped on the bridge...
BTW Ray, I don't think I've welcomed you to the forum, so....welcome.

Hi Bob,
John Hall mentioned (someplace) that new instruments would use new identification technolgy. Although I don't remember if he was explicit about what, I had the impression he might have been embedding an RFI chip someplace in the neck or body.

Man, I wish I could get service to the stage like that...
Maybe your bass player is 'sn*gging' the waitress...(did I use that term correctly?)...

Possibly...in the vernacular, "sn*gging" precedes "sh*gging".
So it's sort of a step-by-step thang, and he could've been on an early step.

So...where does 'slogging' fit in? About the point you realize you're involved in a 'qu*gmire'?
