Guy Picciotto of Fugazi

I was looking for a picture of Guy Picciotto playing one of his Ricks and this was he best I could come up with. I know it's not the typical Rickenbacker sound, but any Fugazi fans here?

HUGE, HUGE Fugazi fan here. One of my influences to say the least.
I never knew Guy played a Rick. I always knew about Ian and his ages-old SG but when I saw them live Guy was playing a Strat.
And welcome to the forum!
Alot of the first basslines I learned were Fugazi lines.

Thanks for the welcome.
Living around DC, I saw them numerous times from around 1988 to 2000. I think each time Guy was playing either a fireglo or jetglo 330 (complete with duct tape for a strap lock if you look closely).

I'm glad someone finally mentioned Guy! He's been ignored on this forum so far.
Guy's tone provides a good mix between the overdriven and the jangly. "Kill Taker" provides some great examples: "Last chance for a slow dance" comes to mind. Some other favorites: "Sieve-fisted find" (Repeater), "Caustic Acrostic" (End Hits), "Bed for the Scraping" (Red Medicine). Good Stuff.
BTW, Brendan Canty is touring with Bob Mould this Fall - that should be interesting.

The first time I saw Fugazi was in 1992 and he and Ian played SGs. I helped put on a show for them a few years after that and they still had SGs. Then, a year after the Columbine shooting, we did a show for them and Guy was playing a Rick. It sounded really good.
