Of course, I'm accustomed to having 6 or 12 strings usually.
And my bass is a Danelectro!

Those are both lovely Fireglo's. Some of the newr ones have a little too much definitiion on the spraying for me, Image

Fireglo's are my weakness, this is about the nicest aged Fireglo I've seen

I think that new 4003 has about the nicest Fireglo I've seen, the others aren't too bad either. I like them when they are very gradually shaded and pink like that.

I like the subtleness of Jim's.

Fireglo's my personal favorite. The shading should be gradual and not show any definitive contrast. However, since every Fireglo guitar is shaded by a human hand (as opposed to a robot), burst paint jobs will always sport a little variation.

Subjective as ever, but I think the majority like a version of the old school Fireglo...Here's a 73, possibly the same guy who did Jim's bass.

That's actually very similar to the new 4003 above, it just looks darker from age.

I prefer the look of Jim's and Andrew's older FG's to the newer 'day-glo' ones I've seen. They are both beauties, guys!

All these lovely Fireglo's are proof positive to why Fireglo is the Rickenbacker signature colour.

No other Rickenbacker colour shows the personal touch of the artist who originally layed down the stain more so than Fireglo.

All Fireglo's are lovey, some a little more so than others .... Andrew, always nice to see your 4001.

Call me weird, but I prefer the newer "salmonglo."

I love the look of the older fireglows and the walnut skunkstripe . I think of mine as being one of the pretty ones.

Will the ones painted today get that warm look that the older ones have ?
