Are you like me? i.e., Just can't see yourself with a Strat? Then, get a Marvin!
Actually, I've been listening to The Shadows a bit lately. I wasn't very familiar with their music... good stuff, IMO. Figured I'd go "all out" and get the guitar while I was at it. I must say... it's not half-bad!

Yeah! Dat's da one!
It's the first "zero-fret" guitar I've ever had. Not too bad, actually... seems to have a little more "real estate" for doing open 7th chords and such.

Think I'll pass, Sir Andrew. I'm not a fan of 'signature' guitars. Glad you're happy with yours, though - that's the main thing!

Hey Guys
Our Bass player is a "Burns Man" (Born and Raised north of London).
He uses a Marquee Bass, but he also has this same model Marvin guitar, as well (huge Shad's fan)
I pull it out of the case when i'm at his place and WOW! It one hell of a nice AXE!
I'm a Rick guy, myself, but If I have to play a Strat-like Guitar, It'll be a Burns Hands down, Amen!
well, maybe a Vox teardrop???
Oh no the wife is looking
See ya!

FWIW, BurnsUSA (the US distributor) recently went out of business and liquidated everything. I picked up a brand new Bison Bass with hard shell case for just $325. Looks cool, sounds incredible, and plays great. I paid so little I kinda feel like I stole something.

Go for it, RJ. I've got a Vox teardrop, too!
Umm... don't have the wife anymore, though.

No wife, Lots of Guitars ummmmmm???
Sounds good!
I've been keeping an eye open for a Vox for a little while, now.
I haven't run across anything yet, but I would like to pick one up for our 50's - 60's act.
Unless somebody has a Ric 430/450/610/620 they'll let go, at a good price?
Oh boy, If I keep this up i'll be Wife-less real fast!

Man, when I think of Burns guitars - I think of the Honeycombs. Check 'em out in that 60's pop film, Go-Go Mania (aka Pop Gear). That's some serious Burns gear they're using. The Burns bass that John Lantree is playing is huge! Both him and the rhythm guitarist (Alan Ward?)look like they are having the time of their lives when they do "Have I The Right"(stomping to the beat and wheeling/waving their Burns guitars about). A pure Burns spectacular showcase! Cool.

Oh my goodness. You've just reminded me that my first major crush was the Honeycombs' drummer.....
