I'm going to B.B. King's tonight to see the Zombies, Peter and Gordon, Billy J. Kramer, Denny Laine and God knows who else?

I am extremely psyched !!!

Anyway, I'll be on the lookout for Rics.

I thought there would be a plethora of Rics at the "Tribute to Mike Smith" on Tues. Aug 2 at B.B. Kings in NYC.

Alas, there was but one: Will Lee of the Fab Faux (and the David Letterman Show) had a mid '70s White 4001.

Peter and Gordon, Denny Laine, Billy J. Kramer, The Zombies --No Rics !!!

There were a dozen or so Vox amps, of course.

It was a great show. The P&G harmonies, Colin Blunstone still has that voice, unreal. Once in a lifetime for me. And it was also for a great cause.

Joe, I caught the Zombies at a tiny club in Lexington, Kentucky last year. Yes, the guitarist used a G&L Statocopy, sadly. It didn't have much character. Colin's voice however was perfection. Chills were induced.

Did you read about how they (Zombies) were grounded in Canada til David Letterman dispatched his personal jet to pick them up for the show you saw? Nice story.

cheers, Noel

Yeah, I was at the second show (2 1/2 hours on line). If it weren't for Dave, I'd still be on the sidewalk.
