Is anyone looking to sell or know of anyone who is wanting to sell a VOX AD60VT or VTX (in very good condition, with no problems). I've been looking for a while and have not had much luck. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pity you're not in Oz, David. There's an AD60VT on Aussie eBay at the moment.

Er.... there was this morning, but GORN!!

I have a VOX AD60VT I'd be willing to sell you. I haven't played it much because I haven't had the time to figure it out. It comes with the foot pedals which were expensive by themselves. Where are you located? Shipping may be an important factor toward the total cost.

$700 including shipping, and I'll throw in the Vox embroidered cover for free.

The one in Oz is back - $899 AUD BIN. I think Chris's option is far more geographically friendly!

Thanks guys, I appreciate your help. I'm kind of stuck on my decision as to which model to get, the VT or VTX. I 've been doing a little research and it sounds as if the VTX has some upgrades on it. Anybody have any info regarding the major differences between the two models. Decisions, decisions, don't you just wish it were bit more simple.

VT - particle board construction, open back, ceramic speakers

VTX - plywood construction, closed back, neodymium "NeoDog" speakers

The VTX models were voiced to take the closed back construction and different speakers into consideration. Personally, I found that my AD120VT got pretty flabby in the low end in a live setting the last time I used it at a gig. But that was in a very "live" room (brick walls; long, narrow room) and it was up on a tilting amp stand. Sitting on the ground or a road case in a normal gigging type room will likely be very different. But closed back construction is sure to have a tighter low end if that's a worry for you. The VTX should be lighter, too, as plywood is less dense and the speakers use lighter magnets.

An AD120VT just sold on eBay this week for under $500 including the deluxe VC12 foot controller.

I haven't tried both models but I really love my VTX. Got it on eBay for 550$.

At the time there was a fellow selling a AD120VT but I opted for the AD60VTX instead for a few reasons. Mainly since I didn't need something the size of the 120, and shipping would've been so expensive.

The only thing I've read about people having electronic problems with their amps but I haven't had a single problem with the VTX. And the tones are so nice!
