What exactly is the difference in tonality of a neck hi-gain vs. a reissue toaster? Is there any significant difference in tone, or is it just an output difference?

Also, are the toasters used on the guitars the same exact pickups as used in the neck position on the basses? Or is there a wiring difference or something?

Well they went fast! Now on back order.
The only difference in the bass and guitar toasters is that the bass pickups have a threaded bottom plate because they mount to the pickguard. AFAIK

Wait, so are the ones on Music123 guitar or bass toasters?
And what's the tonal difference between them and hi-gains?

The one on M123 are the "guitar" version, #0031 have the threaded holes, these do not.

So then how do you get the ones with holes to mount them on the pickguard?

I'd just get a slightly longer screw and use a nut under the p/u.....should be no big deal.
