Is that the original nut in there? (pic 4)
the one in my v63 is white.
even allowing for dodgy colour balance that one is yellowish.
one of us has a replacement nut it seems!

The V63's original nut is white so that may be a replacement. The C64 comes with a black nut.

I just looked at the pic from ebay and it looks like an original white nut.

mine is much whiter, same colour as scratchplate and trc.
hmmm.
