V Festival UK

Post by red_rob »

So I was at the 10th V festival this weekend in Chelmsford, Essex. Firstly, it was a great weekend and there were a lot of top notch acts that did the job well.

Now the Rickenbacker count. And it's pretty low. 2 basses (Franz Ferdinand, The Bravery) and one, yes one guitar. But it was a beauty.

Gem of Oasis pulled out a fireglo 370F old style (gold pickguards and all) for one song. It looked awesome.

Fender seems to be winning the war. By a big margin. Odd.

OOOOH I wish I'd seen the 370F - any pics out there?

You're right Bob - it does make us all special for having the best guitars in the world when all the other jokers are sporting endless telecasters/jazzmasters etc.

I just don't understand it!
