If someone could explain to me where everything goes and the two output jack thing works, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Ric-O-Sound jack is stereo, and requires the Ric-O-Sound box or similar device so the bass (neck) pickup and treble (bridge) pickup signals can be sent to separate amps/channels.

Dan , The best way for you to understand this schematic is to realize this is the jack drawn pictorally .... there is no rocket science hear .I do understand your confusion however .
Looking at the drawing from bottom to the top you have ;
1-the ground/earth connection
2-the "Hot" or tip connection that your input/cord touches when inserted into that jack
3- the switch with the whitish nylon nub that is one half of the connecting 'switch' that turns STEREO / Rick-O-Sound into mono/or a single signal.
4- the pesky other half of the 'switch' ... this has a little nub in the 'fin' that touches the nylon 'fin' ....... look at one of these "Standard" jacks from a Rick-O-Sound instrument.
That is all there is to it .
