As Gary Clauson, Paul Boyer, my wife and I took a break from the confluence on Sunday to get some lunch we passed by the tv's at the hotel cafe and saw the havoc the storm was bringing. We stopped to think about those people in the south.
Thoughts and prayers to those affected by Katrina, from So Cal.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected. I have several family members that are currently displaced as a result of Katrina.

We were under a trop storm warning Friday, but Katrina dip south then headed west out into the Gulf. Many of us were not concerned at all. After Charley and the other 3 storms that ripped thru here last year we sorta got a bit complacent, Cat 1 or 2 who cares we can do that standing on our heads. Well I'll never be so flippant again. My stomach was in knots as I watched it barrel into northern Gulf states. I been to those places that were destroyed. I am so saddened by this, thoughts & prayers to all hang in there!

I live in Ohio, but was in the Bahamas on a 3 day cruise that got cut short by one day. We got out in time but barely made it out of Atlanta before they started cancelling flights yesterday. When we flew out, we went past the eastern edge of "Katrina", very scarey looking. I hope everyone down south is OK.
By the way, I reminded my wife and daughter that we probably would have had a better time going to California for the confluence. They agreed.

I am emotionally crushed to see the complete devastation of New Orleans and other southern towns. I try to imagine myself in that situation... what would I feel, where would I go? I thank God for the basic necessities that my family has, and I pray the people of the Gulf Coast soon receive the basic necessities that they so desparately need.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that Katrina has victimized.
Please consider a much needed monetary donation to the cause.

A very good friend of mine his wife & family were forced to leave N.O. with virtually nothing but the clothes on their backs. They have lost ALL of their personal possessions -- period, and will most likely never see them again! It is a horrible event. I have sent them money and will continue to help.
Won't be buying many basses right now. They're all yours, guys!
